The Ukrainian organic sector continues to show its resilience and steady growth in export potential even during the war. This is confirmed with the results of a study conducted by Organic Initiative Public Association in collaboration with MZ HUB agency in early 2025.

According to the study, 54% of Ukrainian exporters planned to enter new markets. The most frequently mentioned countries were France, the USA, Switzerland, Canada, the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Austria, and Israel. This list almost completely mirrors the list of countries to which organic products were exported in 2024, indicating stable demand and a high level of confidence among international partners.

The study also identified key obstacles that hinder export development. A significant share of exporters depend on a limited number of markets and buyers, which increases risks amid growing competition and stricter quality requirements at the international level. All this creates a need for systematic support for the sector — from assistance in market diversification to high quality analytics that provide a more accurate understanding of importers’ expectations and requirements.This will be the focus of the international online conference Organic Export Vision: Ukraine 2026, which will discuss the main conclusions of 2025 and forecasts for 2026.

The event will serve as a platform for meaningful dialogue among representatives of Ukrainian public authorities, international partners, traders, importers, Ukrainian exporters, as well as local and international experts in the organic sector.

Participants will explore the trends Ukraine is entering the new export season with, opportunities opening up for producers in Europe and beyond, products which will be in highest demand, and the conditions under which international partners are willing to cooperate with Ukrainian companies.

The conference will focus on practical benefits for participants, in particular:

● updated requirements of the European markets and importers’ expectations;

● promising niches and demand forecasts for 2026;

● analytical data on trends, risks, and opportunities;

● tools for scaling exports in 2026: international trade fairs, B2B meetings, training programmes, analytical guides, and assistance projects;

● real cases of Ukrainian organic exporters.

Participation in the event is an opportunity to get answers to the key questions for the sector: what to do tomorrow to find new buyers, maintain market positions, or expand presence abroad.
