The international food and beverage trade fair WorldFood Ukraine, the country’s largest B2B platform for the development of the food retail market, took place in Kyiv from 28 to 30 October.

For the first time, organic products were presented as a separate exhibition — the Organic Food Pavilion, organised by the Organic Initiative Public Association with the support of Switzerland within the framework of the Swiss-Ukrainian Programme “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine” (QFTP). The Pavilion brought together 25 Ukrainian producers of certified organic products.

The Pavilion served as a networking platform for companies with diverse market experience — from brands already represented in national retail chains to those only planning to enter the market.

A series of business meetings was organised for exhibitors with representatives of retail chains and trading platforms, including Auchan Ukraine Hypermarket LLC (special project Responsible Producer), FORA LLC, TAVRIA V LLC, and Silpo-Food LLC (special project Lavka Tradytsii). These meetings allowed producers to gain a better understanding of retail expectations concerning assortment, packaging, and pathways for bringing organic products onto store shelves.

Visitors to the Organic Food Pavilion had the opportunity to taste a variety of organic products from Ukrainian brands such as  Organic Milk, Galeks-Agro, Ecorod, Travka, Yanko Tea, Staryi Porytsk, Brancho, MOL’FAR, Stodola, Food for Thoughts, Nuts’N’Garden, and HroomRoom, and to engage directly with the producers.

The trade fair showcased a wide range of higher value added certified organic products, including cereals, pasta, seeds, honey and bee products, nuts, fruit and vegetables, freeze-dried berries, dairy products, snacks, confectionery and canned vegetables, among others. The full list of companies participating in the Organic Pavilion is available at the link.

“When organising the Organic Food Pavilion, our goal was to bring together key sector producers under one umbrella to enhance the visibility of organic products and demonstrate the potential of Ukrainian producers to the retail community. It is also an important step towards making organic products a significant part of Ukrainian consumers’ everyday choices. We are grateful to Switzerland for its continued support, which enables us to implement initiatives that strengthen the development of Ukraine’s organic sector,” — highlighted Olena Deineko, Chairwoman of the Board, Organic Initiative Public Association.

The Organic Food Pavilion at WorldFood Ukraine 2025 was organised by the Organic Initiative Public Association, with the support of Switzerland within the Swiss-Ukrainian Programme “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine” (QFTP) funded by Switzerland and implemented by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL, Switzerland) in partnership with SAFOSO AG (Switzerland).
