From May 7 to 27, 2025, Auchan stores across Ukraine are running the “Organic Shopping” campaign. During this period, shoppers can purchase certified Ukrainian organic products with discounts of up to 20%.
To make informed choices, customers are encouraged to look for the official Ukrainian organic label — a green leaf at the center of two interlinked circles in yellow and blue with the text “Organic Product”. This logo confirms that the product is certified in accordance with the Law of Ukraine on the Basic Principles and Requirements for Organic Production, Circulation, and Labelling of Organic Products. Products may also feature the EU organic leaf, the official label of the European Union for certified organic goods.
This campaign is initiated by the Organic Initiative Public Association in partnership with Auchan Ukraine. The goal of the campaign is to raise consumer awareness about how to identify organic products and to promote certified Ukrainian organic goods.
To reach as many potential customers as possible, Auchan and the Organic Initiative developed a comprehensive media plan, which includes:
posts on Facebook and Instagram;
targeted digital advertising;
22 outdoor billboards in 5 Ukrainian cities;
and a special social media post by legendary Ukrainian rock musician Oleg Skrypka.
Organic Shopping at Auchan is a great opportunity to explore the range of organic products, make conscious choices in favor of quality, responsible consumption, and care for the environment.
By choosing organic, consumers also support small and medium-sized Ukrainian producers who comply with the national organic production standards.
The campaign is organized by the Auchan supermarket chain in cooperation with the Organic Initiative Public Association, with the support of Switzerland within the Swiss-Ukrainian program “Higher Value-Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector of Ukraine,” financed by Switzerland and implemented by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL, Switzerland) in partnership with SAFOSO AG (Switzerland).
