In 2023, Ukraine joined the celebration of the EU Organic Day and the international Organic September movement. As part of Organic September, Organic Initiative Public Association implemented a bright communication project in the format of a fair together with the Silpo chain. The project included a communication campaign which was held in the digital channels of Ukraine, price promotions and POSm activations in the Silpo stores, and finally, a 2-day organic fair which was held at the Respublika Park shopping mall.

The communication campaign for organic products in the frame of the organic festival was aimed at raising consumer awareness of certified organic products through advertising, websites, and PR articles. SMM tools were used: specially created content was posted on the pages of Silpo and organic producers on social media. A landing page dedicated to organic products was launched on silpo.ua. Consumers could also see announcements in the Silpo mobile app, and the promotional campaign informed Kyiv residents about the fairs on Meta and Youtube. The campaign also included announcements on Kyiv media and advertising on displays in the Respublika Park shopping mall. As a result of the communication activities, high audience reach was achieved — the total audience reach through all campaign channels exceeded 4 million people.

Visitors of the organic fair at the Respublika Park shopping mall on 23-24 September with the participation of 10 producers had the opportunity to taste a wide range of organic products, in particular, fruits, vegetables, dairy and meat products, cheeses, sweets, snacks, groceries, oil, etc.
