The survey was conducted from January 20th till February 1st 2023 by the Organic Initiative (Ukraine) in partnership with Organic Standard certification body (Ukraine) to analyse the current situation in the sector after one year of the full-fledged invasion, as well as the organic market operators’ plans for the new marketing season.
100 organic SMEs from 20 oblasts of Ukraine took part in the survey, i.e. organic producers and processors that work on the domestic market and small exporters.
