According to the survey of organic business, which was conducted by the Organic Initiative and Organic Ukraine NGO in mid-July 2022, about 70% of organic operators continue organic production and processing fully or partially.
The survey showed that the domestic market is mostly affected by the low purchasing power and reduced demand for organic products, in particular, due to displacement of a significant number of people to other regions of Ukraine and abroad, disrupted supply chains due to destroyed infrastructure and closing of some retail chains.
Therefore, Phase 2 of the Grant Program will be focused on strengthening the capacity of the organic sector, supporting organic operators, organic producers and processors with a focus on sales and marketing.
At this phase it is important to create the preconditions for further development of the organic sector. Support will be given to the initiatives that help to restore the economic viability of operators and service providers of the organic market.
Applications are accepted until 20 September 2022 to email@example.com.
